Notice of the 39th Annual General Meeting and Annual Get-Together
The Institution of Fire Engineers Sri Lanka (IFESL) is pleased to inform its members that the 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM), followed by the Annual Get-Together, will be held as detailed below:
Date : Saturday, 31st January 2026
Time : 9:00 a.m. onwards
Venue : Royal Colombo Golf Club
In accordance with Section 14(a) of the Articles of Association of the Institution of Fire Engineers Sri Lanka, this notice is hereby issued to convene the Annual General Meeting.
Submission of Resolutions and Nominations
Members are kindly requested to submit any resolutions, nominations for committee positions, or other matters for discussion at the AGM to the Secretary on or before 21st January 2026.
Agenda for the AGM
1. Declaration of the Annual General Meeting
2. Confirmation of the Minutes of the Previous AGM
3. Presentation of the Annual Report by the President
4. Presentation of the Auditor’s Report by the Treasurer
5. Appointment of an Audit Firm for the Year 2026/2027
6. Discussion and Approval of Resolutions / Proposals Submitted in Advance
7. Appointment of a Pro-tem Chairman
8. Election of Office Bearers
9. Discussion on Future Plans of IFESL
10. Cocktail and Lunch
11. Conclusion of the AGM and Get-Together (3:00 p.m.)
