CPTSTL is popular well known company in the island. Our main task is distributing 90% of petroleum products throughout the country. CPSTL has two main oil terminals 01. Kolonnawa Installation and Muthurajawela Installation and also 12 Nos. of fuel bulk depots around the Island.

Fire fighters are manned in every bulk depots to provide Fire cover for smooth operations.
Total Fire Staff is 138 personal.

1. Our main responsibilities are:

I. Implementing of fire & safety Regulation
II. Fire prevention
III. Fire suppression

In addition
2. Provide fire safety cover for smooth operation / storing & distribution, maintenance activities.

3. Implementation and upgrading of fire fighting systems / fire alarm systems etc. for all product tanks and relevant balding.

4. Preparing of emergency fire action plan, evacuation plan etc. to meet any type of natural fires
Well as man-made fires take terrorist activities.

5. Administrative activities among other functions / outside organizations / bulk depots etc.

6. Conducting fire & safety training for fire staffs / security staffs / other employees attached to
Kolonnawa Installation, Muthurajawela Terminal, and Bulk Depots.

7. Conducting combined fire drills with the assistance of Local Fire Services among our bulk
Depots with consultation / assistance with IFE resources personnel.
